Although the hotel is situated a ted bit out of the Leh city, but they provide shuttles to market every now and then, which sorts this problem. The location of the hotel otherwise is lovely as it has a good view of the Indus river and unblocked view of the Stok-Kangri peaks from the window and another mountain range from the lobby in front of your room. Rooms were clean and well maintained, nothing overtly luxurious but smart basics.

Food was good, but the room service was a little slow. Lunch and Dinner buffet was with limited choices but preparations were good. I usually am particular about the tea and they dint let me down, usually accompanied with delicious veg fritters on an evening tea.

We visited the hotel as a group of about 20 people going on a photography tour and used this as the base between various trips out of Leh.
